New MAP tray offers safe, space-saving transport of meat goods

Hutthurm, 23.07.15 – Euro pallets have been used for the smooth transport of standardised eurocrates for many years. ES-Plastic has developed an ingenious solution for fitting as many trays of meat products or other foodstuffs as possible into these eurocrates. The new Euro modular tray is a little space-saving wonder. It fits into the eurocrate with millimetre precision, allowing a 22% increase in transport volume compared with traditional gastro trays. It combines the benefits of lightweight PP and the stability of the tried and tested ribbed structure. It is ideal for attractive, hygienic packaging of the finest foods and can be tightly sealed using PP or PE sealing film.

In the standard version, the Euro modular tray measures 356 mm x 280 mm x 90 mm and has a volume of 6,806 ml. It is offered in the following colours: transparent, white or black and can also be manufactured in all available RAL or Pantone colours. The E1, E2 and E3 eurocrates can respectively accommodate two, four or six of the trays, which are adapted to the crate dimensions.
